What is the WCW certification?
|
The WebYoda Certified Webmaster (WCW)
certification is designed to improve a candidate's proficiency in a broad
range of Internet-related subjects. This certification provides a solid
foundation of skills needed to acquire a mid-level Webmaster position or to
building a personal Web-development business from the ground up.
The WCW exam can not be attempted
without first passing the "WebYoda Associate Webmaster"
exam with a score of 70% or better. There are two possible approaches
to obtaining the title of "WebYoda Certified Webmaster (WCW)."
Approach One comprises successfully passing the four Webmaster
Certification courses listed below and passing an online exam.
WCW Recommended Courses:
To pass a course, the student must complete all class exercises, bonus
exercises, and homework assignments. The online comprehensive exam
consists of 60 questions drawn from the content covered in the courses.
The passing score is 70%. Candidates who choose the first approach will
get a 50% discount on all examination fees.
Approach Two is intended for candidates who are already proficient
with the content covered in the courses listed above and would like
official recognition for their knowledge. Such candidates will only take
both the WAW and WCW exams. Passing rating is 70%.
